Our musical sound is brought full by Steve Stuntz on guitar, Peter Concilio on bass and ArtisTree directors Kathleen Dolan on flute and Mark van Gulden on drums. This is truly an evening spent with old friends playing favorite seasonal music which warms the heart.

Our Cabaret Performers

Bob Merrill (Music Director, piano) has been playing piano for over 60 years, performing for over 50, and playing professionally for over 40 years. He is comfortable in jazz, rock, and country genres, has performed in many theater productions, and leads Tango Norte, a popular local tango orchestra. He also creates original piano scores for silent films. A Pomfret resident for over 30 years, he now makes his home in Wilder.

Collen Doyle (host) grew up in Bridgewater and is a third generation Vermonter. He is an Alumni of the Yoh Theatre Players of Woodstock, VT, and moved to New York City when he was 18 to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  Now active again in the local Vermont performance scene, he is the president of One Forest Films and the founder and director of the Woolen Mill Comedy Club.

Grace Crummer (vocalist) is from Worcestershire, England. She is an up & coming vocalist in the Upper Valley area and participates in the Interplay Jazz Jams every month. You’ll enjoy hearing her interpretation of standards and bossas and tunes made famous by Pink Martini. She lives in New London NH with her husband Brandon.

Gabrielle Confer (vocalist) has been dancing through life for 22 years. She graduated with her BFA in Dance from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 2017. She moved to NYC and performed for The Ride and was also a part of the work/study program with the Mark Morris Dance Group. Since relocating to the Upper Valley in Summer 2018, she has choreographed and performed in productions with NCCT, BarnArts, and Parish Players.  She performed as Ulla in BarnArts production of The Producers.

Steve Stuntz (guitar) is a West Coast transplant originally from Seattle. He played and taught guitar professionally full time in Seattle, California and Colorado as well as lived and played overseas. Rooted in blues, rock and jazz guitar, he enjoys playing for theater and live shows. He has only recently returned to playing after a hiatus to work his day gig in education and bring two children successfully into adulthood. He lives in Woodstock.

Glendon Ingalls (bass).

Mark van Gulden (drums) is a freelance percussionist, piano player and ukulele player living in Barnard. Mark has been actively playing professionally in and around Vermont and elsewhere, on occasion, for the past 45 years, and is the  music director at ArtisTree Community Arts Center.

Kathleen Dolan (flute) is the founder and chief visionary of ArtisTree Community Arts Center.  She has worked with children for over 20 years as a care provider, art therapist intern and in association with visual arts and music.   She often plays flute in collaboration with her partner and ArtisTree musical director, Mark van Gulden.
